Police Saturday started investigation into the death of a mentally unsound person who was found in injured state from a forest area.
“A 70 year old man mentally unsound Ghulam Ali Khan son of Kalo Khan resident of Zarihar Machama Tral was found injured condition at Wazakul Nad forest. He was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Tral for treatment, where he was declared brought dead,” a police statement said.
It said that police has started investigation under section 174 CrPC to ascertain the cause of the death. The body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs after completion of all legal formalities for last rites.
