After facing a murderous assault, independent legislator and MLA Langate, Er Rashid came to lower house around 11:48.
He had staged walk out from house along with NC, Congress, Hakeem Yaseen and MY Tarigami. However, others had come back soon but Rashid.
As he entered the house, Rashid addressed speaker, Kavinder Gupta, and asked him to bring beef ban bill for discussion. “Time is to discuss beef ban bill and you should take it on priority basis,” he said.
Agitated Rashid did not spare anyone and said, “I am not the one to leave the house; my dead body shall go out of this house.”
Rashid made comparisons saying, “Dadri’s Ikhlaq, Rajouri’s Hamidullah (cop) and I share the same story.”
Ikhlaq of Dadri, Uttar Pradesh was killed by a mob for suspicion of having eaten beef, Hamidullah, a cop, was thrashed by goons in Rajouri for transporting bovine. And Rashid faced a ‘murderous assault’ by BJP men today in lower house for arranging a beef party at MLA Hostel in Srinagar. BJP men were booked in Rajouri case as well.
While leaving the house, Rashid addressed PDP, PC men saying, “You will have to answer people.”
As he was walking hitherto, Peoples Conference MLA Kupwara grinned at him which made Rashid to remark, “Where is Sajad Lone? Come to Kupwara.” And he staged walk out, again.
