At 11pm, Water level in Srinagar is at 19.15 feet

   

Srinagar: The water level in Srinagar’s Ram Munshi Bagh  is recorded at 19.15 feet at 11pm, this was stated by department of Irrigation and Flood Control.

The water levels across Jehlum is flowing above alarm levels. It has reached ‘flood declaration level’ at Sangam as gauge shows 21.65 ft at 11pm, while at Asham, it is 10.91 ft.

However the rise in last one hour is not sharp as compared to 9pm to 10 pm slot.

The department has advised the people living along the embankments of river Jehlum/Nallahs and in low lying areas of South Kashmir to remain vigilant.

They have further directed the employees of department to report to their respective beats.
