Police Wednesday intercepted a truck in the posh Trikuta Nagar area of Jammu city and seized 12.3 kilograms of cannabis from its driver and owner.
The driver, identified as Kali Dass, and the owner, Asha Singh, have been arrested and booked under various sections of the NDPS Act, a deputy superintendent of police told a news gathering agency.
“On questioning, the two accused revealed that the drugs were meant for sale amongst youngsters in Jammu district”, the officer said.
