A 12-year-old girl drowned in river Vesho at Shamsipora area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam Tuesday.
A daughter of Khursheed Ahmad Lone of Shamsipora, Shanu Jan drowned in river Vesho while she was bathing. Her body was later fished out.
After completing medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her next of kins for last rites, the police spokesperson said.
