SRINAGAR: A 14-year-old boy was injured after being attacked by a wild bear in the Asher area of Banihal in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, reports said.
The teenager, identified as Akram Ahmed Chohan, son of Nazir Ahmed Chohan and a resident of Seeri, Ramban, was attacked by the animal near his residential area.
Reports said that the boy sustained injuries in the attack and was shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Banihal, where he is undergoing treatment.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated an investigation.
