A 15-year-old boy drowned after he jumped to swim in nearby Haji peer Nallah in Balkot area of district Baramulla near LoC on Monday.
The boy has been identified as Mohd Hafiz Jinder, son of Noor din Jinder, a resident of Churnda, 9kms away from Baramulla.
Reports said that, Hafiz was class 9 student. The body of Hafiz was yet to be fished out when this report was being filed. Police and concerned officials are on job.
