190 Achievers from Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh Invited to Republic Day Celebrations in New Delhi

   

SRINAGAR: 120 achievers from Jammu and Kashmir and 70 from Ladakh have been invited as special guests to the 76th Republic Day celebrations at Kartavya Path in New Delhi.

The invitees come from diverse backgrounds, including students, artisans, beneficiaries of the PM-Vishwakarma Yojana, PM Surya Ghar Yojana, construction workers, residents of Vibrant Villages, and outstanding Water Warriors.

“Each of these invitees represents a story of courage and determination, embodying the spirit of contributing to nation-building,” an official said.

He added, “The people of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh have shown time and again that with commitment and dedication, obstacles can be overcome. The government has ensured special arrangements for their accommodation and logistical support to make their experience memorable and comfortable.”

This initiative is part of a larger effort, with around 10,000 special guests from across the country invited to witness the Republic Day Parade. These guests, hailed as achievers and best performers in their respective fields, are described as the architects of Swarnim Bharat.
