Police station Safakadal fished out a body of Mohammad Lateef Khan, age 30 years, son of Mohammad Ismail Khan resident of Lachmanpora, Batamaloo, Srinagar from river Jehlum at Gassi Mohalla, Sasafakadal. A police statement said on Saturday.
It added that the individual was missing since April 10, 2013. As confirmed by police station Batamaloo a missing report was lodged in police station Batamaloo on April 11,2013.
Police said that the body of Ghulam Rasool Bhat, age 60 years, son of Abdul Samad resident of Pamposh Colony, Natipora was found near KMD Bus Stand, M.A Road, Srinagar. Police inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC have been initiated in this regard.
