SRINAGAR
Two persons died while fifteen others were injured in separate road accidents across the valley, a police statement said on Thursday.
A bus bearing registered number JK01E/7915 hit and injured a pedestrian Abdul Gani Shah son of Abdullah Shah resident of Gang Bugh at By-Pass road Kupwara. He was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Kupwara for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, a Tata mini bus bearing registration number JK01C/5025 hit a Scooty bearing registration number JK01S/7289 at Lal Mandi crossing, in Rajbagh, resulting in injuries to the scooterist Shazia Shafi daughter of Mohammad Shafi Najar resident of Dabtal, MR Gang Srinagar. She was shifted to SMHS, Srinagar for treatment where she succumbed to her injuries.
In another accident, a bus bearing registration number JK01C/9633 hit a Maruti car bearing registration number JK01P/7783 at Wussan near petrol pump, in Ganderbal, resulting in injuries to Mohammad Ishaq son of Abdul Rahim resident of Wussan who was travelling in the Maruti car. The injured was shifted to PHC Wussan for treatment.
A Sumo bearing registration number JK03A/6708 collided with Xylo vehicle bearing registration number JK01Q/1866 at Vessu, in Qazigund, resulting in injuries to 9 passengers. All the injured persons were shifted to District Hospital, Islamabad for treatment.
Another Sumo bearing registration number JK01E-2735 hit a motor cycle bearing chassis number Kmr-5R-649 at Arampora, Handwara resulting in injuries to the motor cyclist Nazir Ahamd Sheikh son of Habibullah Sheikh resident of Ananwan Langate. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Kupwara, where from he was shifted to Bone & Joint Hospital, Srinagar for further treatment.
An Eco sports car bearing registration number JK01W/0867 hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK01U/9371 at Bus stand Batamaloo near Labour Sarai Complex, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist Shabir Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Qadir resident of Nowgam. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Tavera bearing registration number JK03C/7794 hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK13B/4139 at Kathsoo, in Srigufwara, Islamabad resulting in injuries to motorcyclist Nisar Ahmad Ganai son of Abdul Rehman Ganaie resident of Kathsoo. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment.
Another Tavera bearing registration number JK03C/5524 hit a Motor cycle bearing registration number JK03C/0879 at Kadlabal in Pampore resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist Sajad Ahmad Bhat son of Mohammad Shafi resident of Drangbal Pampore and pillion Shahid Tariq son of Tariq Ahmad resident of Fristabal Pampore. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
