SRINAGAR
Two persons died while two others were injured in different road accidents across the valley, a police statement said on Friday.
A Motor cycle bearing registration number JK04A-5337 hit and injured a pedestrian Ghulam Mohammad Lotto son of Ali Mohammad resident of Narrspora Budgam near Narraspora, in Budgam. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.
In another accident, an En-Field motor cycle bearing registration number Hr51AR5756 driven by V.K Arora resident of Haryana meet with an accident at Chokyal Drass, resulting in the injuries to the rider. He was shifted to 308 Army Hospital Drass where he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, a TATA Sumo bearing registration number JK01Q-6316 driven by an unknown person hit and injured Liyaqat Awan son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din resident of Hariganwan near Snow Land Hotel Sonamarg, Ganderbal. The injured was shifted to PHC Sonamarg for treatment where from he was shifted to SKIMS Soura for further treatment.
In another road accident, Mukhtar Ahmad Cheechi son of Qasim Cheechi resident of Waltangoo Nad fell from the roof top of a Sumo bearing registration number JK02AG/4631 near Waltangoo Nad, in Qazigund and got injured. He was shifted to Sub District Hospital Qazigund for treatment where from he was shifted to Bone & Joints Hospital Srinagar for further treatment.
