Two persons died while other two got injured in different accidents across valley. A police statement said on Wednesday.
A vehicle bearing registration number JK01N/7762 hit and seriously injured a boy Sulaiman Rather son of Bashir Ahmad resident of Bramarri at Bramarri, Kupwara. The Injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Kupwara for treatment, where he succumbed his injuries.
In another accident an Eicher bearing registration number JK03C/4748 hit and critically injured a pedestrian lady Mst Fatima wife of Ghulam Ahmad Thoker resident of Sherabad, Tral at Chechkoot, Awantipora. She succumbed to her injuries on way to the hospital
“An i-10 Car bearing registration number JK04C/0114 hit and injured a 06 years old boy Aamir Bashir Nangroo resident of Lawaypora, at Lawaypora, Srinagar,” the statement said. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
The statement further added that A Tipper bearing registration number JK013/0984 driven by Farooq Ahmad Wani son of Mohammad Maqbool resident of Panzgam, Kokernag hit a Maruti Car bearing registration number JK01A/1123 near Police colony Gate, Qamarwari, Srinagar, “resulting in injuries to one person travelling in the Maruti car. The injured has been shifted to SMHS, Hospital Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
