SRINAGAR
Two persons died and six others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley. A police statement said on Wednesday.
An unidentified Tractor hit and injured a pedestrian Sameer Ahmad Shah son of Mohammad Yaqoob resident of Khargund at Kund Crossing, Qazigund. The injured was shifted to SKIMS, Soura Srinagar for treatment, where he succumbed to his injures.
A Tavera bearing registration number JK02R/7181 hit and injured a pedestrian Abdul Rashid son of Babu resident of Kerie Terth, Kalakote at Drangbal Pampore. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Pampore for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Another Tavera bearing registration number JK01P/9566 hit a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK03D/0368 at Highway near Green tunnel, Sangam, Bijbehara, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist and pillion Sabzar Ahmad Ganai son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Khudwani and Mohammad Mohammad Ismail Nakioo son of Mohammad Sultan resident of Shamsipora Wapoora.
Both the injured have been shifted to Sub District Hospital, Bijbehara for treatment.
A Tavera bearing registration number JK01R/7839 driven by Tariq Ahmad Mir son of Mohammad Shafi resident of Wager Budgam hit and injured a pedestrian Afroza daughter of Ghulam Mohammad Teli resident of Waghama near HDFC Bank , Bijbehara. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Sumo bearing registration number JK09/9822 collided with a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK05A/1179 near JIC Kupwara, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist Nassir Ahmad son of Fareed Ahmad, Asif Khan son of Mohammad Yousf resident of Candoosa, Baramulla and Shaista Bano daughter of Muzaffer Lone resident of Kalarooch traveling in the Sumo. The injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment.
