SRINAGAR
Two persons died and three others were injured in different road accidents across the valley. A police statement said on Monday.
A Wagon-R bearing registration number JK04A/2030 on way from Shopian to Herpora hit a pedestrian, Shakeel Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Chogalpora, Kulgam near Y-Junction Mughal road office, resulting in his on spot death. The body of deceased was handed over to his relatives.
Meanwhile, a Maruti 800 hit two motorcycles bearing registration number JK01F/7156 and Chasis number 07943 at Chattergam, resulting in injuries to both the motorcyclist. Both the injured were shifted to Chattergam hospital where one of the injured identified as Reyaz Ahmad Sheikh succumbed to his injuries.
In another accident, a motorcycle bearing registration number Jk01G/4204 met with an accident at Kangan, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist Uroje Ahmad Bagwan son of Mohammad Shafi and a pillion Mohammad Saleem Kaka. Both the injured were shifted to Hospital for treatment.
