SRINAGAR
Two persons died of fall while harvesting walnuts in District Islamabad. A police statement said on Friday.
A 27 years old Mohammad Altaf Dar son of Khalil Dar resident of Kanganhal, Achabal fell from a Walnut tree at Kangalhal, Achabal. He succumbed to his injuries on way to the Hospital.
In another similar incident Mushtaq Ahmad Beigh resident of Seer Hamdan fell from a walnut tree while harvesting walnuts in Mattan, Islamabad. He was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, a 4 year old girl died while three other were injured in different road accidents across the valley.
A truck bearing registration number Jk13/3068 hit and injured a 4 years old Bisma daughter of Qayoom Bhat resident of Nadihal, Bandipora. She succumbed to her injuries on way to Hospital.
A Scorpio bearing registration Jk03A/7474 hit and injured a lady Fatima wife of Mohammad Sharief Chowhan resident of Manzmoh at Dalwalch, Qazigund.
In another accident, an unknown vehicle hit and injured a 60 years Aysha Banoo wife of Ali Mohammad Mir resident of Chandan Panjan at Qazigund.
A tanker bearing registration number JK02W/3974 hit and injured a pedestrian near Harnag crossing, in Kulgam. The injured was shifted to District hospital, Islamabad for treatment.
