The B.Ed final year students of Kashmir University staged protest in the campus on Friday against the “undesirable date-sheet“ by varsity authorities.

Around hundred students enrolled in varsity for the said degree staged a protest near examination controller office and demanded revising of date-sheet.

“The date-sheet has no regards for students,” said one protesting student, “it has given only one day off to students in between exams, which is simply unacceptable.”

The varsity authorities on their defense said that the said exam can’t be spilled over to the month of October, due to paucity of time and other engagements.

“If at all, authorities are reluctant to extend the date of examination,” another protesting student said. “Then they should have come up with the date-sheet much before. It seems they have made their mind to put students at inconvenience by adhering to eleven hour call.”
