Kupwara police claimed the arrest of two persons who were roaming at Sumo Stand, Kupwara and recovered two hand grenades from their possession. A police statement said on Wednesday.
Police said that Abdul Rouf Badder son of Abdullah Badder and Zafar Iqbal Badder son of Sulaiman Badder residents of Amrohi Karnah were arrested by at Sumo Stand, Kupwara.During their search two hand grenades and some suspicious powder was recovered from their possession.
A case FIR number 153/2013 under section 7/25 A. Act, 8/20 NDPS act was registered in this regard.
