During the drilling operation for the NHPC in Kishtwar area, two engineers died as they were washed away in the Chenab River after the slipped near its banks.
According to sources Pramod Pathak, an engineer, and his helper Hushiar Singh were in a drilling operation for the NHPC in Kishtwar district when they slipped into the Chenab River.
The police said that both are feared dead and the search operations have been started to fish out their bodies from the river. (KNS)
