Police on Tuesday arrested two persons from Sopore town in connection with the killing of SPO at Chankhan, Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Official sources told Global News Service (GNS) that two persons, who according to eyewitnesses, fired upon Mudasir Ahmad Dar of Sofi Hamam Chankhan Sopore on July 28 outside his residence, were arrested by SOG Sopore on Tuesday morning.
Sources identified the two arrested persons as Asif Dar son of Ghulam Hassan Dar of Mumkak Batpura and Auqib Ramzan son of Mohd Ramzan of Sangrampora, Batpura.
They said that some arms and ammunition was also recovered from their possession.
