Budgam Police today recovered 200 Shawls that were stolen about a month ago from a house at Narbal, a police statement said. The burglar has been identified but is at large, it informed.
“In May this year Bashir Ahmad Malik reported in police station Magam that burglars had decamped with 200 Shawls from his home at Narbal. Magam police registered a case FIR no. 30/2014 under section 457, 380/RPC and investigation was started,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, the investigation zeroed into a person involved in the burglary. “On a tip off Magam police recovered 200 shawls but the accused managed his escape. Hunt to nab the culprit has been intensified.”
