SRINAGAR: The Ladakh Administration has relieved Vikas Kumar, IPS (AGMUT:2013), of his duties as SSP Traffic and additional charge of SSP Security and Police Telecommunication, and posted Pawan Kumar, IPS, as SP Traffic with immediate effect.
According to an order issued by the UT Home Department, Vikas Kumar was relieved of his duties from the afternoon of September 8 and directed to report to the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi for further duties.
Pawan Kumar, who was awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as SP Traffic, Ladakh, and will also hold additional charge of SP Security and Police Telecommunication until further orders.
The changes were made in pursuance of a Ministry of Home Affairs order dated September 2, 2026.
