SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the transfer of an Accounts Officer in the Jammu and Kashmir Power Corporation Limited (JKPCL), while assigning additional charge of the post to another officer with immediate effect.
According to Government Order No. 282-F of 2026, issued by the Finance Department on September 8, Mudasir Zaman, Accounts Officer, JKPCL, Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as Accounts Officer in the office of the Director General Accounts and Treasuries, against an available post.
The order further states that Rakhshan Peerzada, Pay and Accounts Officer in the office of the Chief Engineer, Generation and Transmission (PDC), Srinagar, will hold the additional charge of Accounts Officer, JKPCL, Kashmir, until further orders.
The transfers and posting have been ordered in the interest of administration, according to the Government order.
