SRINAGAR: A young labourer was found dead under suspicious circumstances in his rented accommodation in the Drangbal area of Pampore on Friday, officials said.
An official said the deceased has been identified as Vicky, son of Baldev Chand, a resident of Farole in Tehsil Ramnagar, District Udhampur. He was around 22 years old.
He was employed at a tea stall named Broadway Tea Stall in Drangbal, Pampore.
Officials said his body was found inside his rented room in the same area.
Police reached the spot soon after receiving information and took cognisance of the incident.
Further investigation has been initiated to ascertain the cause of death, and more details are awaited. (KNC)
