SRINAGAR: A 24-year-old girl was killed in a cooking gas cylinder blast in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday, officials said.
Quoting officials reported that Zeenat Tariq daughter of Tariq Ahmad Khan, a resident of Shatpora Haihama suffered critical injuries at her home in a gas cylinder explosion. “She was immediately shifted to SDH Kupwara for treatment from where she was referred to SMHS hospital where she succumbed shortly after”, they said.
Confirming it, a police official said that they have taken cognizance of the incident. (GNS)
