SRINAGAR: A 25-year-old man was found dead under suspicious circumstances at his residence in the Wayil Wudder area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district during the intervening night of July 21 and 22, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Farhan Ahmad Khan, a resident of Wayil Wudder.
According to reports, the body was recovered from his residence and shifted to the District Hospital Ganderbal for medico-legal formalities.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated inquest proceedings to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the death.
Further investigation is underway.
