SRINAGAR: United India Insurance Company (UIIC) is initiating the recruitment process for 250 Administrative Officers (Scale I) nationwide. The available vacancies are distributed across various categories, including SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and UR, with specific reservations for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). The last date to apply is January 23, 2024.
Candidates interested in applying must hold a degree with 60 per cent marks (55 per cent for SC/ST) from a recognized university. Computer literacy is mandatory, and the qualifications should be obtained from any recognized University/Institute in India duly approved by UGC/AICTE, following an appropriate pattern like 10+2+3 or its equivalent.
The age limit for applicants ranges from a minimum of 21 years to a maximum of 30 years as of December 31, 2023, with age relaxations available based on categories such as SC/ST, OBC, PwBD, EWS, and Ex-Servicemen. The selection will be based on an online test which is tentatively scheduled for February 2024, although all dates and details are provisional and subject to change. Those selected in online test will have to go through an interview. The examination encompasses sections in Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and Computer Literacy.
