SRINAGAR: A 26-year-old youth from Pampore succumbed to injuries following a road accident near the Chursoo Toll Plaza in Awantipora district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.
Officials said the injured person was identified as Farhad Fayaz, a resident of Chandhara Pampore.
He was initially evacuated to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bijbehara for treatment; however, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after admission, the official said.
Cognisance of the incident has been taken, and further proceedings are underway. (JKNS)
