Lecturer Faces Probe for Misconduct, Inquiry Officer Appointed

   

SRINAGAR: The School Education Department has appointed an Inquiry Officer to probe charges against a government school lecturer in Poonch district for alleged violation of conduct rules.

As per an official order issued by the SED, Mushtaq Ahmad, I/c Joint Director (SE), Directorate of School Education Jammu, has been appointed as the Inquiry Officer to investigate the charges against Mr Mohd Ishaq, Lecturer (Mathematics) at BHSS Surankote.

The lecturer has been accused of violating provisions of Rule 22 of the J&K Employees Conduct Rules, 1971. The inquiry will be held in terms of Rule 31 of the J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956.

The Inquiry Officer has been directed to submit his findings and recommendations to the department within 15 days from the date of the order’s issuance. (JKNS)
