Central government is flying three officers to Srinagar to study the implementation of the decision of withdrawing twin currency notes as legal tender, official sources in Delhi said.

The three officers include Suresh Kumar, additional secretary in the ministry of Coal, Manoj Kumar Dweidi, Joint Secretary Ministry of commerce and S Rakesh Kumar, a Deputy Secretary in Ministry of Rural Development.

A team of two to three officers have been identified to study the implementation in all the states across India. The order issued on November 18, directed the officers to visit their assigned states, go for field visits and offer feedback after making spot assessment of the situation.
