SRINAGAR

Three persons died and four others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley. A police statement said on Thursday.

A Motorcycle bearing registration number JK02AK/ 6397 hit and injured a pedestrian Sheikh Noor Illahi son of Ghulam Ahmad resident of Peerbagh at Peerbagh Chowk, Budgam, in Humhama. The injured was shifted to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for treatment, where he succumbed his injuries.

Another Motorcycle bearing registration number JK03B/5149 driven by a 16-year-old Nazim Ahmad Rather son of Abdul Rashid resident of Bonigam rammed into an electric pole at Nasu Badragund, Kulgam, in Qazigund, resulting in his  on spot death.

Motorcycle bearing registration number JK09/2629 driven by Bashir Ahmad Pir son of Mohammad Abdullah resident of Qadirabad Hiri, Kupwara hit and injured a pedestrian Wali Mohammad Mir resident of Braripora near Tutigund Handwara. The Motorcyclist was injured in the mishap. Both the injured were shifted to the District Hospital Handwara for treatment. Wali Mohammad Mir was referred to Srinagar for treatment. He succumbed to his injuries in way to Srinagar hospital.

A Scooter bearing registration number JK03C/1436 hit and injured as pedestrian Ghulam Nabi Mir son of Abdul Aziz resident of Donipowa, Islamabad. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.

A Ford Figo car bearing registration number JK01T/3138 hit and injured a pedestrian Irshad Ali Bhat son of Ali Mohammad resident of Nadirgund at Peerbagh Chowk, Budgam, in Humhama. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.

A Maruti Car bearing registration number JK05A/6399 hit and injured Samad Dentoo resident of Kawari at Kawari, Kupwara, in Drugmulla. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
