SRINAGAR: At least 30 passengers, mostly women, sustained injuries when a mini-bus overturned on a hilly road in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district on Sunday, officials said.
Two of the injured are in critical condition and have been shifted to Government Medical College Hospital in Jammu for specialised treatment.
The accident occurred near Tara Morh as the bus was travelling from Moughla in Rajouri district to Pouni in Reasi, officials added.
Among the injured were 22 women, all of whom were admitted to hospital for treatment. The two critically injured passengers have been identified as Rafaqat Ali and Goutam Sharma, who were referred to the GMC hospital in Jammu, officials said.
Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the accident.
