SRINAGAR: A joint team of security forces on Sunday recovered and subsequently destroyed an improvised explosive device (IED) in north Kashmir’s Kupwara.
Claiming to have averted a militant incident, the security forces stated that the IED was destroyed in the Narikut forest area.
“OP NARIKUT, Kupwara — #ChinarWarriors and @BSF_Kashmir averted a terror incident today by recovering and destroying an IED in the general area of Narikut Forest, Kupwara,” the Chinar Corps wrote in an X post. (KB)
