SRINAGAR: A 32-year-old daily wager died after falling from an electric pole during repair work in the Imoh Achabal area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday.
He has been identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad Lone (32), son of Nazir Ahmad Lone, a resident of Hiller Kokernag. He fell from the pole while carrying out repair work.
He was immediately shifted to GMC Anantnag in critical condition but succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case and taken up the investigation. (GNS)
