CRPF personnel opened fire in Zoonimar area of the city resulting in the death of Altaf Ahmad Wani resident of Saidapora.
Altaf was rushed to SKIMS Soura, after a CRPF party of 73rd battalion fired upon him, where he succumbed to his bullet injuries. The doctors, who were attending Altaf in SKIMS, while talking to Kashmir Life confirmed his death.
