A batch of 1602 Yatris offered Darshan of Amrnath cave taking the figure to 342556 who reached the cave till date and offered Darshan.
An official of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) told Kashmir Life that the number of yatris reaching Amarnath was satisfactory. “We received 1602 Yatris on cave on Sunday, taking the overall toll to 342556,” the official said.
The Yatra is going on in a smooth way and the pilgrims are being provided by every facility from both the routes. He added.
The official said that twelve pilgrims have died natural death during this year’s ongoing Yatra.
Yatra 2013, started on June 21, and it will culminate on August 21.
