A man allegedly committed suicide in a police station in Udhampur district, police said on Monday.
Subash Chander was found hanging in a lockup in Ramnagar tehsil of the district around 6am today, police said.
He tore the silk cloth stitched on the side of a blanket and hanged himself with it in the lockup, a police officer said, adding a case has been registered.
