4 persons injured in road accidents

Four persons were injured in two separate road accidents in Srinagar and Kupwara, police said in a statement issued here.

In Srinagar, an Oil Tanker bearing registration number JK02BJ-6847 hit and injured a pedestrian namely Dawlat Singh resident of Jammu at Sempora in the jurisdiction of Police Station Pantha Chowk.  The injured was shifted to Bone & Joints Hospital, Srinagar for treatment. Srinagar police has registered a case in this regard.

In Kupwara, a Swift car bearing registration number JK09-7343 hit and injured three pedestrians namely Rizwan Ahmad Akhoon resident of Drugmulla, Illyas Ahmad Sheikh resident of Shumnag and Firdousa resident of Halmatpora, Kupwara at main market Kupwara. All the injured persons were shifted to Kupwara Hospital for treatment, wherefrom one of the injured Illyas Ahmad Sheikh was shifted to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar for further treatment.  Kupwara police has registered a case in this regard.
