According to police spokesman, during the intervening night of December 22 & 23, fire broke out in the residential house of Abdul Rashid at Janbaz Gunj, Khanpora, Baramulla. The fire engulfed the adjacent houses of Ghulam Rasool and Amina Begum, resulting in complete damage to the houses.
However, no loss of life or injury was reported in this incident. Police is investigating the cause of the fire.
Meanwhile in another incident, fire broke out in the house of Haji Mohammad Akbar resident of Naranag, Ganderbal damaging the house completely, besides, another adjacent house was also gutted in this incident. However, no loss of life or injury was reported in this incident.
