SRINAGAR : A 40-year-old man was injured after being attacked by a bear in the Jabla area of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday.
Officials said Toseef Ahmad Poswal, son of Shah Zaman Poswal and a resident of Jabla, was attacked by the bear while he was in a dhok (temporary shelter) in the area.
He sustained injuries in the attack and was immediately shifted to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH), Uri, for treatment.
