The officials say that the modus operandi of Thursday’s attack in Jammu division of J&K points to the involvement of the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) outfit.
According to sources a report submitted to the government has said that banned terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba was behind the attack in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
The militants, dressed in army fatigues, first attacked a police station and then an Army camp resulting in the killing of 13 persons including a Lieutenant Colonel of the Indian Army.
“The modus operandi of Thursday’s attack also points to the involvement of the LeT,” reads the report submitted to the government sources added.
Pertinently, a lesser known militant outfit ‘Shohda Bregade’ has claimed the responsibility of the attacks.
