One civilian who got killed in Hiranagar militant attack on Thursday has been identified as Firdos Ahmad Ahangar s/o Bashir Ahmad Ahangar, a resident of Khunmoh, Srinagar.
The deceased had gone just to have a visit of the area with the truck driver living in his neighbouhood.
“Feroz had nothing doing with driving but he had gone with the truck only to have a visit,” a neighbor of Firdos informed Kashmir Life.
The truck driver has been identified as Arif Ahmad Dar s/o Mohammad Maqbool Dar and he is undergoing questioning by police regarding the attack.
The body of Firdos, 28 was on Friday brought to his native area and was laid to rest amid tears.
A large number of people participated in his funeral.
