SRINAGAR: A 45-year-old woman was injured after being attacked by a bear in Tarkasi village of the Peeri area in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, reports said.
The woman, identified as Nazira Begum, a resident of Tarkasi, sustained injuries in the attack and was subsequently referred to Government Medical College (GMC), Rajouri, for treatment.
Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident.
