SRINAGAR: A 5.5-magnitude earthquake jolted Pakistan’s south-western Balochistan province on Friday, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) said.
According to the USGS, the tremor occurred at 06:30 GMT, with its epicentre located about 79 kilometres (49 miles) north-east of Khuzdar. The earthquake struck at a shallow depth of 10 kilometres (6.21 miles).
There were no immediate reports of casualties or major damage.
