Five Day Workshop on “RFID and Microcontroller Based Pervasive Computing” organized by Department of ITE and Department of CSE, BGSB University in collaboration with HBEONLABS Technologies Pvt Ltd which started on April 22, 2013 completed successfully.

As per a statement around 120 students and faculty members attended the Workshop. During the workshop students were trained on various technologies like RFID, Microcontroller Programming, Embedded C, LCD Interfacing etc.

During the workshop, Students made projects like RFID based Animal Tracking, RFID based Attendance System, Automatic Toll Collection System, Car Parking System etc. which were displayed and demonstrated to all the dignitaries.

Dean School of Mathematical Sciences and Engineering, Dr Mohammed Asger appreciated the students for their efforts and encouraged them to transform the academic projects into working models for the benefit of society. Dr Mohammed Asger also lauded the efforts of department of ITE and CSE for organizing this workshop.

HoD ITE, Malik Mubasher Hassan briefed the audience about RFID technology and its applications. Chief Guest Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. AK Koul congratulated students and departments for organizing this workshop. Registrar Mohammed Rashid Choudhary stressed upon the need of research and innovation. He also appreciated organizing secretaries Nikhil Gupta and Nipun Bakshi for the successful conduct of workshop. He also extended invitation to HBEONLABS for organizing more events in future at BGSB University.
