Private Coaching centres Association (CCA) of Kashmir has unanimously agreed to implement all the guidelines put forward by the government.

In a statement issued on Friday, CCA said that the decision was taken at a meeting of the Association, a day after the government asked the coaching centre owners to implement various rules and regulations.

“The problem with the coaching centres has been going on for a long time and now it seems to be heading for resolution,” said G N Var chairman CCA adding “We have agreed to all the demands put forward by the government.”

Pertinently, administration had asked the association to submit the completed paperwork of all coaching centres with the concerned authorities within three days so that the registration papers would be issued to the eligible coaching centres within a ten days.

“DC Srinagar was highly annoyed with the officials of education department after they failed to convince him as to why the department has been unable to register the coaching centres during this year,” said Var. He added “Now the entire process is set to be completed within ten days.”

Some of the guidelines include separate classes and timing for boys and girls, definition of fee criteria and stress on attendance.
