SRINAGAR: A 58-year-old man was killed after an auto-rickshaw collided with a Hyundai Venue car in the Raj Bagh area of Srinagar during the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday, officials said.
The deceased, identified as Abdullah Rehman Dar, son of Ghulam Mohammad and a resident of Beerwah in Budgam, sustained critical injuries in the collision.
He was shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar, where doctors declared him brought dead, an official said.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated further investigation.
