SRINAGAR
Mohammad Subhan Bukhari, father of prominent journalist, and former associate editor of Kashmir Life Parvaiz Bukhari Passed away last night. He was 90.
Mr Bukhari was in the government service and has served Kashmir under Maharaja as well as the government that replaced him in 1947. He has known areas across the undivided areas of Jammu and Kashmir like Palm of his hand.
For the last many years, Mr Bukahri was restricted to his home. He was not feeling well for some time, quite recently. Last night he breathed his last.
Mr Bukahri is being laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard. The funeral prayers are expected well around 10 am at, Rawalpora.
The Kashmir Life family and Journalist fraternity of Kashmir has condoled the Srinagar Bureau Chief of reputed international media organization AFP.
