SRINAGAR: Six CRPF personnel were injured after the vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road near the Gagangir Tunnel in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday, officials said.
Quoting an official the news agency KNO reported that the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to skid off the road near the tunnel. Six CRPF personnel sustained injuries in the incident.
He said the injured personnel were immediately provided first aid at the scene before being shifted to a nearby medical facility for further treatment.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident and an investigation has been initiated.
