Six candidates of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Wednesday filed their nomination papers before the Secretary Legislative Assembly (Returning Officer) for the Legislative Council elections.
Accompanied by legislators and senior party functionaries the PDP candidates filed the nomination papers for six out of eleven seats to the Upper House for which the notification was issued by the ECI.
Those who filed the nomination are Surinder Choudhary and Firdous Tak for Jammu seats, Anayat Ali for reserved seat of Kargil and Javed Ahmed Mirchal, Saif-ud-Din Bhat and Yasir Reshi for Kashmir province seats.
