SRINAGAR: A 65-year-old man died after suffering an electric shock at his residence in Bunpora Gogjigund area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Tuesday.
Officials said that Ghulam Ahmed Ganie, son of Ghulam Mohammad Ganie, a resident of Bunpora Gogjigund, received an electric shock at his home.
He was immediately shifted to District Hospital Ganderbal, where doctors declared him dead on arrival, officials said.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated proceedings.(GNS)
